We've been having lots of people ask us how things are going with IUI. We really, really, really appreciate all the prayers, messages, and warm thoughts sent our way. I went on Saturday because I was feeling very crampy and was worried I might be ovulating. Turns out I was not! Thank goodness, but my follicles were not quite ready. I rescheduled for Tuesday and they were yet again not ready. They are taking their sweet time growing :) I go back again tomorrow (Thursday) for one more check and the hopes that they will be ready. I have 3 folliles that are growing on my right side. How awesome if they all mature! Twins or Triplets??!! If we are close tomorrow then I get my shot and we do IUI on Friday! I am trying to keep my excitement down because I don't want to get my hopes up, but that is really hard to do! We have come so far and are so close! Keep us in your thoughts and prayers! Here's hoping these follicles grow like crazy today!!
On another note, does anyone know what type of insurance covers infertility? Ours does not and if IUI doesn't work we may have to eventually look into IVF. I've heard there are some insurance companies that pay for up to 6 tries at IVF! Yeah....I'd love to find out what company that is!
*Note: This is not a picture of my sonogram, but this is what the follicles look like. The very large black spot is at about a 14 according to the website I got this from. I have 3 of those right now at a 15!*
